Dean Dawson, Ph.D. is a Co-founder and board member. Dr. Dawson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and a member of the Programs of Genetics and Molecular Microbiology at Tufts University Medical School. His research focuses on mechanisms of chromosome segregation and the basis of the chromosome segregation errors that contribute to birth defects and cancer. Before joining the faculty at Tufts, Dr. Dawson performed his doctoral research at the University of Utah and was a Damon Runyon Research Fellow in the Department of Genetics at Harvard University.

Larry Gold, Ph.D. Dr. Gold has a long history of founding and managing successful biotechnology companies. He is a founder and the CEO of Somalogic. He was a founder of Synergen and NeXstar. Dr. Gold is an member of the National Academy of Science and recipient of many awards. He is currently Professor of Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Colorado.

Daniel Gottschling, Ph.D. is a member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). His research focuses on how the expression of a yeast gene can be affected by its physical position on the chromosome. In recognition of his research, he has received numerous awards including the Pew Charitable Trust Biomedical Scholar, the National Academy of Sciences Award in Molecular Biology, and the Fletcher Scholar from the Cancer Research Foundation. Dr. Gottschling received his Ph.D. in 1984 from the University of Colorado, Boulder and completed postdoctoral training at the FHCRC. Prior to joining the FHCRC in 1996, he was on the faculty of the University of Chicago from 1989 to 1996.
